Ecoturismo Kuyimá is local community-based organization of Ejido Luis Echeverría Álvarez which occupies the lands southeast of San Ignacio Lagoon. Since 1990 we have been developing ecotourism activities in the central region of the Baja California Peninsula, Mexico, in El Vizcaíno Biosphere Reserve, the largest natural protected area in Latin America.
We mainly promote the discovery of the friendly grey whales of San Ignacio Lagoon and natural wonders, as wells as expeditions to see the cave paintings of the Sierra de San Francisco and enjoy their spectacular surrounding landscapes. We believe in Ecotourism as the most enjoyable and effective way to know and value nature and, therefore to work towards its conservation. Our staff is friendly, and is willing and well-trained to introduce you to the wonders of the Baja California Peninsula, in a unique and unforgettable experience.
