Frontiers North Adventures is a family-owned and operated business that has been specializing in adventures to Canada’s North for 30+ years. Our programs are designed for guests with specific interests in experiential travel, photography, wildlife, culture and adventure. Since day-one, we have built our business on the principal of working closely with the communities and locals within the communities we visit. It’s these relationships that make the difference between a cool vacation and an amazing, authentic and intimate adventure.
We started Churchill's first recycling program, working with partners in order to transport all recyclable materials produced by Frontiers North and our partners to Winnipeg recycling facilities. The Town of Churchill took over this program in 2011.
When transporting our Tundra Buggy Lodge to Cape Churchill within Wapusk National Park, we travel over frozen tidal flats rather than overland, which causes no impact to the tundra of the National Park.
We operate on a set of established trails created by the military back in the 50s. By staying on this set of trails we help to prevent further damage to the delicate tundra ecosystem.
We advocate for the protection of remote, wild areas through sound and sustainable economic development, even limiting our own business growth in order to have a sustainable tourism product.
